Justify Equivalent Technical Solutions When Deviating from Common Specifications

Providers of high-risk AI systems or general-purpose AI models who do not comply with the common specifications adopted under Article 41(1) must duly justify that they have adopted alternative technical solutions meeting the requirements in Section 2 of Chapter III (high-risk AI systems) or, as applicable, the obligations in Sections 2 and 3 of Chapter V (general-purpose AI models) to a level at least equivalent thereto.
