Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of the ReguLume platform provided by ReguLume, LLC ("ReguLume", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
ReguLume decomposes regulatory texts into structured obligations, maps a customer's uploaded evidence against those obligations, scores readiness, and generates reports. Features and included usage depend on the plan selected.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account details, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Access is granted per tenant; you may not attempt to access another tenant's data.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: uploading content you have no right to process, attempting to breach tenant isolation or security controls, reverse-engineering the platform, or using it to build a competing product. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to upload any personal data contained in your content.
4. Professional-judgment disclaimer
ReguLume is a decision-support tool for qualified compliance and legal professionals. Its outputs (obligation mappings, gap analyses, readiness scores, and reports) are aids to professional judgment. They are not legal advice and are not a guarantee of regulatory compliance. You remain responsible for all decisions made using the platform.
5. Customer data and IP
You retain all rights to the content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service, as set out in the Data Processing Agreement. We retain all rights to the ReguLume platform, its regulatory analysis engine, and its obligation library.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed in advance on the stated cycle. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give reasonable notice of price changes.
7. Availability
The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We give notice of planned maintenance where practical.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReguLume is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and disputes are subject to the courts of the State of Wyoming, United States.
