Description

Competent authorities must provide a controlled environment fostering innovation and facilitating development, training, testing and validation of innovative AI systems for a limited time, pursuant to a specific sandbox plan agreed with providers/prospective providers, ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place; where real-world testing is included, the plan must incorporate the real-world testing plan referenced in Articles 60 and 60a.
