111 — AI systems already placed on the market or put into service and general-purpose AI models already placed on the marked
Comply with Regulation upon significant change to pre-existing high-risk AI systems
Description
For high-risk AI systems (other than Annex X large-scale IT system components) placed on the market or put into service before the date of application of Chapter III, the Regulation applies only if, from that date, those systems undergo significant changes in their design. Operators must ensure compliance with the Regulation's requirements when such significant design changes occur.
