Conditional limitation of high-risk requirements under equivalent sectoral legislation

Description

For high-risk AI systems referred to in Article 6(1), application of specific requirements/obligations under Articles 9 to 15 and 17 to 25 may be limited where Union harmonisation legislation in Annex I Section A provides equivalent or higher protection of health, safety or fundamental rights, and such limitation does not reduce the overall level of protection under this Regulation.
