Presumption of conformity via harmonised standards

Description

High-risk AI systems or general-purpose AI models that conform to harmonised standards (or parts thereof) whose references have been published in the Official Journal in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012 are presumed to conform with the requirements of Section 2 of this Chapter or, as applicable, the obligations of Chapter V, Sections 2 and 3, to the extent those standards cover such requirements or obligations.
