Description

Prohibits placing on the market, putting into service for this specific purpose, or use of biometric categorisation systems that individually categorise natural persons based on biometric data to deduce or infer race, political opinions, trade union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, or sexual orientation. Does not cover labelling/filtering of lawfully acquired biometric datasets or categorising biometric data in the area of law enforcement.
